Who We Are Welcome to The Angle Homestead, home of the Angle Acres La Mancha herd. We are located in the Northern California Sierra Nevada Foothills in beautiful Nevada City, California. Our stock is registered with ADGA and we emphasize milk production and structurally correct animals.

Our HistoryThe Angle Homestead was started in 2010 with the purchase of two registered pygmy goats as a 4-H project. Our love of goats was immediate and shortly there after two registered Nigerian Dwarf does were added.
As our priorities changed we decided to retire our pygmy goat breeding program in 2015. We still own our first doe, Pygmies in the Pines Annie, who's best friend is our largest La Mancha doe MIni Ridge Top Roulette. We currently breed La Manchas for milk production and show ring performance. Our herd participates in the linear appraisal and DHIR milk test programs (ADGA Plus). We also test annually for CAE, CL and Johnes. In 2019 we made the decision to increase our LaMancha dairy goat program and have them be our main focus. Towards the end of 2020 we made the difficult decision to disperse our Nigerian herd. We have a few does that are enjoying retired life and will remain here for the rest of their days. |
