The La Mancha breed was never on our list of breeds to own when we first started our farm in 2010. We had the opportunity to work with our friends at Love Acres Dairy Goat Farm during the 2016 show season. Her herd quickly won over our hearts and a decision was made to reserve a doe kid for the 2017 kidding season. We realized adding one wasn't an option and jumped at the opportunity to add a second doe kid from the same herd. The personalities of the breed alone are enough reason to add one. or two to a herd. They are the first to greet you and are very helpful around the homestead.
