Robin is the youngest of our senior does. She is still maturing and has shown us her potential and earned a spot at our homestead. She has wonderful dairy strength and is showing a very correct udder as a first freshener. She was also commended at linear appraisal for her rear leg view, rear udder height, udder depth and rear udder side view. Robin hasn't done as well in the show ring as we would like, but is at a major disadvantage being a fall kid. We can't wait to see her mature! When Hermione was 3 days old we knew we had to retain this doe. The photo of her from that day is included in her slideshow so everyone can see what we saw. She was born for the show ring and loves showing off. The most exciting part for us is that she is our second generation to carry our herd name. She is following in her dam's footsteps by placing in the top three in her age class at almost every show. We were rewarded with a Reserve Junior Champion ribbon towards the end of the show season. Hermione has been commended for her smoothness of blending, dairy characteristics, rear leg angulation, rump angle, level top line, depth of body and spring of rib; over all being an exceptional doe. We will get her in the show ring a lot in 2017 as a dry yearling. Due to her size, we will freshen her in 2018. Hermione has now earned the right to stay home until she freshens in 2018. She won best Junior doe in show at the very competitive Motherlode Show in June of 2017.
